- Q. Where can I find coupons for Morningstar Farms® products?
- A. Sign up to be an Insider. Once you're a member, you'll receive the Insider Newsletter, which keeps you updated on the latest special offers.
- Q. Does it cost anything to become an Insider?
- A. Joining the Insider program and enjoying its benefits are completely free. Sign up now!
- Q. How can I manage my Insider account?
- A. To manage your account preferences, enter your Insider username and password on the Kellogg Company My Account Login page. Click "My Subscriptions". From here you can opt out of some of the Insider features and unsubscribe from the newsletter.
- Q. Sometimes I have a hard time finding my favorite Morningstar Farms® products. How can I find where they're sold?
- A. To find a retailer near you that carries Morningstar Farms® products, visit our Where to Buy page. Enter your ZIP code and choose the product you're looking for from the dropdown boxes. If you don't see the product you're trying to find, check our discontinued products list. Also, you can always Contact Us with questions about availability.
- Q. I'd like to buy Morningstar Farms® products in bulk. Are they available at club or bulk stores?
- A. Yes, they are, although the products in stock may vary. Call your local club or bulk store to make sure they carry your favorite Morningstar Farms® products.
- Q. Can I buy Morningstar Farms® products online?
- A. We do not currently offer an online or direct sale ordering service for Morningstar Farms® products. You can find our products at supermarkets, natural food stores and club stores in the frozen foods section. Where to Buy can help you locate a store near you that carries your favorite Morningstar Farms® products.
- Q. Is there a way to purchase Morningstar Farms® products for business purposes?
- A. There sure is. Owners and managers who want to buy Morningstar Farms® products for a business can call 888-289-5554, Option 0, to place an order.
- Q. Which of your products can I find in my favorite restaurants? Are they the same as what's carried in stores?
- A. For a list of products offered in restaurants, visit Food Away From Home and choose "Morningstar Farms®" in the dropdown box labeled "Brand". Most of these products have the same ingredients but differ in portion size from the products you buy at the grocery store.
- Q. How can I tell when my Morningstar Farms® products have expired?
- A. Just check the outside of your Morningstar Farms® product package for the "Better If Used Before" date. This is the date by which the product should be eaten to ensure that it meets our high quality standards.
- Q. Can I still use a Morningstar Farms® product after it has thawed? If so, what is the shelf life?
- A. All Morningstar Farms® products should be kept frozen until ready to use. We recommend that any thawed products be thrown away, as our heating instructions are based on a frozen product.
- Q. Will you use my tasty idea for a new Morningstar Farms® product or recipe, or an idea for the overall improvement of the company, if I send it in?
- A. We love hearing from our fans, especially when it comes to improving our product lineup, recipe collection and company. We're always testing new products, and a lot of our inspiration comes from consumers like you. However, please know that by sending your idea to Morningstar Farms® through this site, you're also giving us permission to use it as our own.
- Q. I have a concern or question about a specific Morningstar Farms® product or the ingredients in Morningstar Farms® products. How can I send it to the right person?
- A. You can Contact Us, choose the "Product Concern" option under "Request More Information", click Continue to enter your contact information and message, and send it our way.
- Q. I'm vegan. What Morningstar Farms® products can I enjoy?
- A. From Veggie Burgers to Chik'n Strips, we offer a diverse line of vegan products. We've also created, tested and endorsed some really delicious vegan recipes made with Morningstar Farms® products, like Asian-Style Lettuce Wraps, Tuscan-Style Vegan Pesto Pasta and Vegan Lasagna with Basil-Tofu Ricotta.
- Q. Are there any plans to expand the vegan product lineup? If so, when can I expect to see more vegan products in stores?
- A. The new Hickory BBQ Riblets are a vegan option. There are plans to expand our vegan product lineup in the near future, so continue to check out the New Products page and your grocer's freezer.
- Q. What is your allergen labeling policy?
- A. Because peanuts, tree nuts, egg, cow's milk, wheat, soybeans, fish and shellfish account for 90% of food allergies in the U.S., these allergen ingredients are required to be labeled on food products when they are present as an ingredient. On our products, the side panel provides an allergen box below the ingredient statement. The allergen box clearly states the top eight allergens contained inside each package. We encourage consumers with food allergies to check the ingredient statement on each package for the most current ingredient information, because product formulations can change at any time. If the allergen of concern is not listed below the ingredient statement, we are confident that the product is safe for consumption. We also use a "may contain" statement for peanuts and tree nuts when the product is produced on a line that shares equipment with another product that does contain peanuts or tree nuts. Beyond the top eight allergens, all ingredients are declared within the ingredient statement. If you are concerned about a specific ingredient, please review the ingredient statement to determine if it is part of the product formulation.
- Q. Do Morningstar Farms® products use animal by-products or rennet for processing cheese?
- A. Our vegan products are completely free from animal by-products and rennet. If you're not sure if one of our products is vegan, check the packaging for any mention of "vegan," and check the ingredients list for any egg, milk or dairy products.
- Q. Are Morningstar Farms® products made with cage-free eggs?
- A. We are currently exploring the use of cage-free eggs in our products, and we are also looking at making more of our products egg-free. In 2008, formulation changes in our products allowed us to reduce our use of eggs from caged hens by 1,000,000. In 2009, we expect to again reduce our caged egg use, this time by 500,000. We recognize that this is a sensitive issue, and we are committed to actively exploring how we can use even fewer or no caged eggs.
- Q. Are Morningstar Farms® products made with GMO ingredients?
- A. We recognize that some Morningstar Farms® consumers may prefer foods that do not contain biotech ingredients, so we offer Morningstar Farms® Breakfast Patties Made with Organic Soy. At this time, all of our other products contain biotech ingredients. The ingredients we use have been approved by the appropriate regulatory authorities, and all of our products comply with food labeling requirements in markets where they are sold throughout the world.
